Daniel David Moneymaker, Jr. enlisted at Staunton on August 1, 1861 and became a private in 2nd Company H of the 25th Virginia Infantry. He was present until wounded about September 10, 1861 in West Virginia. He died in transport for West Virginia to Staunton.
