Services will be held at 3pm, Tuesday at Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel for Doris Madge Moneymaker, 78, who passed away January 3, 1992, in Bakersfield. Reverend Joe Mallison of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Central, will officiate. Mrs. Moneymaker was born in Greenville Texas and had been a resident of the Kern County area for the past 54 years. Before retiring, she had been employed at San Joaquin hospital for 29 years Survivors include her sons, George William Brown of San Jose, James Clayton Moneymaker of San Jose and Victor Lynn Moneymaker of Bakersfield; Grandchildren, Colleen Brown of Berkeley, George Brown II of San Jose, Jim Moneymaker, Jr, of the United States Coast Guard, Shelly Moneymaker of San Jose, Brenda Jolene Moneymaker and Frank Moneymaker both of Bakersfield; nieces and nephews, Phillip Coursey of Bakersfield, Bill Sockwell of Scotts Valley, Mary Flynn of Reno, Nevada; Louella Beyers of Coleville Washington and Laura Taylor of Bakersfield, brothers and sisters, Horace, Gene, Jerry, Phillip, Ted and Faye Castleberry, all of Texas. Visitation will be today from 8am until 2pm. Intermemt will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
