Age 72, of 1417 Vine St. died at his home Wednesday morning. Born in Albemarle County, Jan. 20, 1908, he was a son of the late William and Rose Martin Moneymaker. He was a member of the Cherry Avenue Christian Church and a retired employee of Barnes Lumber Company with 35 years service. Survived by his wife, Barbara A. Moneymaker; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Belew of Charlottesville, and Mrs. Ludie Cresmond and Mrs. Mable Jarrell both of Alexandria; and two brothers, Clarence Moneymaker of Alexandria and Benn Moneymaker of Charlottesville. Funeral services will be held as 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Joseph W. Teague Chapel. The Re. Ralph Carter will officiate with burial in Monticello Memory Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today.
