Age 86, of Rt. 2. Mt. Solon, died late Tuesday night (March 6, 1990) at Rockingham Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room. He was born March 5, 1904 in Augusta County, a son of David and Mary Sue Moneymaker. He lived at Mt. Solon all his life and was a farmer. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and attended Emmanuel Church of the Bretheren. On March 12, 1933 he married Lennis Michael. In addition to his widow, surviving are three daughters, Eddie Landes of Bridgewater, Bertha Crum of Staunton and Katherine Sheets of Churchville; six grand-children; two great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson-McMullen Funeral Home by the Revs. Eugene Shaver and Dean Fauley, with burial at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memorial Gardens.
